Labelled outcasts by their Ethiopian neighbours because of their Jewish faith, 13-year-old Wuditu and her family make the arduous trek on foot to Sudan in the hope of being transported of Yeruslem and its promise of a better life. Instead, they are herded into a squalid refugee camp until the day soldiers round up Wuditu and scroes of others, forcing them back to Ethiopian border.
